How often I wanted to gather your people together, just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. But you didn’t want that.  

Look, your house is left to you deserted.

With great pride and pleasure, we would like to introduce you to our newest accomplishment on Bluestone Farms!

With guidance from Tom Heying, and countless hours invested by Bluestone Interns and volunteers, we have finished our cordwood Chicken House!

This magnificent structure will serve us for generations, providing a safe and sustainably built home for our chickens and a little extra room for Elke's gardening tools too. Thank you everyone who was able to contribute in some way, shape or form to this project!
